About us
Who we are
At Canadian Baptist Bible Church, we believe in the power of the Bible to transform and guide us in our daily lives. We are a loving family that seeks to care for one another and spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We also strive to help our members learn how to think Biblically and develop a closer relationship with God. If you’re looking for a place of encouragement and growth, we invite you to join us and experience the power of God's word through his Spirit.
Our Pastor

Pastor Matthew Patton was born and raised in central Alberta, Canada. He attended Canadian Baptist Bible Church with his family as a child and came to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in his adolescence. God called him to preach in 2008, and he became the pastor of CBBC in 2018. He now resides in Lacombe with his wife and children.
Our Story
CBBC was built by the prayer, faith and giving of many precious saints. We thank God for them and strive to continue their legacy.

What to expect!
Our 10 a.m. Sunday school consists of teaching through the Bible in an informal setting where questions and discussion are encouraged in order to build a strong Biblical foundation. We have four different age groups for youth ranging from 3 to 19 where we enjoy lively discussions, games, and snacks. During the same hour an adult class is held where common questions and Biblical truths are discussed. Bring a coffee, notebook and pen, and get ready to think!

Our 11 a.m and 6 p.m. services include congregational singing, special music, testimonies, and preaching. For parents with children 4 and under, a nursery staffed by experienced workers is available. Our hope is that parents can relax and participate fully in the service.

We often finish around 12:30, but we are always happy to continue the service until the Holy Spirit is finished working.

After each service, we enjoy visiting and fellowship.
